Photosynthesize: light in, love out

Don't forget: Drink water. Get sunlight. You're basically a plant with more complicated emotions.

Okay okay, so humans aren't technically plants. But let's just take a moment to share an admiration for the natural world and magic of plants, and a bow to the power of the human heart and love.

Plants have the photosynthetic superpower, taking LIGHT and CO2 and turn it into...well, plant material, and a blessing for the rest of the world. And though not the same as plant magic, this makes me think of the human heart, and not just the physical heart, but the heart chakra. The alchemical process that happens in the heart chakra is a human superpower.

So why are we talking about this? Although I'm not trying to draw any real scientific parallels to photosynthesis, the process of breathing, taking in light and blessing the world is a cosmic power of the heart chakra.

Physically, the heart chakra includes, well..the heart, but also the lungs, arms and hands. Some of the qualities we associate with the heart are the color green, breath, love, compassion, bliss, grief, transmutation.

"The heart is the hub of all sacred places." It is the bridge of spirit and matter.

Open yourself to the light and work your magic. Photosynthesize.

Find the light. Grow your roots. Breathe love and blessing.

Have you seen the time lapse videos where the plants open and close and move to reach the light? Do that.

Place one hand on your heart and one hand on the earth. Breathe a circuit of connection.

Open to the light - the light of love and your essence nature. As you soak that up, let it generate the transmutational power of your heart. Off-gas and radiate the grace of your embodiment, for the benefit of all beings and your bliss.
